above和on的区别

above一般指位置高于某物，但不一定在正上方，也不接触另一物，on指与另一物表面相接触。

例：1、Put it down on the table.

把它放在桌子上。

2、The water came above our knees.

水淹过了我们的膝盖。

用法搭配：

1、be on about sth

(informal) 谈论（某事）；有…的意思

2、be on for sth

(informal) 想要做某事

Is anyone on for a drink after work?
